Tidewater Morning is a collection of three coming-of-age stories set in the Tidewater region of Virginia. The stories follow the lives of three young people as they navigate the challenges of adolescence and come to terms with their own identities.

The first story, "Tidewater Morning," follows the story of Jimmy, a young boy who is struggling to come to terms with his father's death. Jimmy's father was a fisherman, and Jimmy has always dreamed of following in his footsteps. But after his father's death, Jimmy is left feeling lost and alone.

The second story, "The Summer of the Blue Crabs," follows the story of Sarah, a young girl who is struggling to find her place in the world. Sarah is a talented artist, but she is afraid to share her work with others. She is also struggling with her relationship with her parents, who are divorced.

The third story, "The Last Days of Summer," follows the story of Billy, a young boy who is struggling to come to terms with his sexuality. Billy is attracted to his best friend, but he is afraid to tell him how he feels. He is also struggling with his relationship with his father, who is homophobic.

Tidewater Morning is a moving and insightful collection of stories about the challenges of adolescence. The stories are beautifully written and the characters are well-developed and relatable. Tidewater Morning is a must-read for anyone who has ever struggled with the challenges of growing up.
