Mary Diyon's debut poetry collection, Poontang and Other Poems, is a powerful and intimate exploration of love, loss, and female empowerment. Diyon's raw and honest voice gives a voice to the voiceless and challenges societal norms.
The poems in Poontang and Other Poems are deeply personal and often painful. Diyon writes about the complexities of love, the pain of loss, and the challenges of being a woman in a patriarchal society. However, her poems are also full of hope and resilience. Diyon's voice is a powerful force for change, and her poems inspire readers to embrace their own power and to fight for a better world.
